CORE: The Community Online Resource Exchange
Welcome to the SBHC CORE
The CORE is a resource center for SBHC staff. Inside you'll find all kinds of resources, from websites to pamphlets to individuals/consultants and organizations.
In the CORE you can:
FIND resources to use in your center
RATE resources you have used
RECOMMEND new resources to be added
Please Note: In order to download, recommend and rate resources you must register.

The CORE is currently focused on the following topic and skill areas:
- Building skills within relationships (e.g. negotiation skills, refusal skills, pro-social skills, problem-solving skills)
- Abuse within relationships (e.g. harassment, bullying, relational aggression, isolation, physical/mental abuse)
- Asset building (e.g. support systems, empowerment, constructive use of time, positive values, positive identity, commitment to learning, social competencies)
- HIV/STD prevention
- Sexual orientation and gender identification
- Using communication and learning styles
- Cultural competency
- Developing meaningful partnerships between your SBHC and the school community
- Developing meaningful partnerships with the broader community
- Working with youth (e.g. advisory boards, peer to peer mentoring/support, focus groups)
