aevidum is a word.

It was created from the Latin root “vid” (meaning life) and is an expression of assurance to another person meaning, “I have your back.” This word has yet to make its way into the dictionary. But it will.

The Students Against Destructive Decisions Club at Cocalico High School created the word aevidum to raise awareness of the warning signs of depression. With this word and this website, we hope to inform as many people as possible of the warning signs of depression in hopes to prevent suicide.
