When a teen in South Hadley committed suicide after repeated bullying, a group of concerned Brockton High School students approached school administrators with an idea.

"Let’s get everyone in the school to wear pink for a day as a way to stand up against bullying and embrace diversity at the school," the students suggested.

And that’s just what nearly every student did on Wednesday in one way or another.

Pink shirts. Pink pants. Pink socks. Pink shoes. Pink pins.

“It’s a sea of pink,” Principal Susan Szachowicz said. “It’s amazing.”

If you are looking for a project to use in building an SBHC / School partnership, this is a great idea!
