The Action Plan
As we mark 26 years of school-based health care in Oregon there is so much to celebrate. But this year also presents the risk of state budget cuts that threaten the future of every SBHC in the state.
Your donation will support our work to protect the achievements of the last 26 years.
- $25 underwrites communication to a broad field of youth, parents, advocates and SBHC practitioners
- $50 sponsors a single student's participation in leadership training where they will learn to tell their story and train one another on ways to raise awareness within their local communities about the importance of their health care at the SBHC
- $75 supports our voice of expertise at one of several children's health advisory committees
- $150 ensures our influence in the every changing policy landscape
- $250 will help to finance our VOICE we educate our legislators and promote the SBHC model in Salem

We carry your voice through the halls of the legislature... to the offices of policy makers... and into the hearts of a community that cares.
The 2011 Legislative Session in Oregon ended in June and SBHC budgets were held at a level amount, which means children will not lose access where it most readily available... at school. Our work at the federal level brought $4.2 million in grants to build and improve SBHCs across the state.
