Funding Opportunities for the School-Based Health Community
School Based Comprehensive Oral Health Services Grants
APPLICATION DUE: Friday, July 15, 2011
On Tuesday, May 31st, the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) announced the availability of federal funds for its School Based Comprehensive Oral Health Services (SBCOHS) Grant Program (HR-11-112) .
The purpose of the program is to implement comprehensive oral health services within existing school-based health centers (SBHCs).
The target of the program is specifically on early childhood and elementary/middle-school aged children with greatest need for high-quality oral health education and preventive and restorative services.
Up to 12 SBHCs will be awarded grants at a maximum level of $200,000 per year.
